Edwards, Administrator of the Estate of Paul Curtis Thompson, Jr., deceased, Petitioner v. Richard Henderson et al., Respondents, 16-SP-168, the undersigned, who was by said Order appointed Commissioner to sell the lands described in the petition, will on the 26th day of October, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the courthouse door of the Stanly County Courthouse, Albemarle, North Carolina, offer for sale to the highest bidder, subject to the following terms and conditions, that certain tract or parcel of land having an address of 121 Lilly Street, Norwood, North Carolina, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin on the north side of Lily (formerly Cedar) Street, which iron pin is North 86 East 224 feet from the northeast corner of Pee Dee Avenue and Lily Street and runs thence North 06-45 West 202 feet to an iron pin in the James Byrd line; thence North 84 East 55 feet to an iron pin, a new corner; thence South 05-30 East 200 feet to an iron pin on the north side of Lily (formerly Cedar) Street, a new corner in the Lee S. Ballard line; thence with the north side of Lily (formerly Cedar) Street, South 82-30 West 50 feet to the point of Beginning, the same being a portion of the first tract or parcel of land described in that certain deed from T. A. Wilson and wife, Bertie Wilson, and R. L. Wilson and wife, Emily Wilson, to Lee S. Ballard and wife, Grace Shankle Ballard, dated March 17, 1939, and recorded in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Stanly County, North Carolina, in Deed Book 110, Page 559. There is no representation of warranty relating to the title or any physical, environmental health or safety conditions existing in or relating to said property being offered for sale. This property is being offered for sale subject to all prior liens and unpaid taxes and any other encumbrances or exceptions of record. A cash deposit of five percent (5%) of the purchase price or $750.00, whichever is greater, will be required at the time of sale.
