Pulaski County Extension District Board
will hold a public hearing on August 25 at 3 p.m. at the Pulaski County Cooperative Extension Service Office for the purpose of obtaining com-ments from the public regarding proposed FY 18 rates. All rates are per $100 assessed valuation of property. The tax levied last year was Real Property last year was 1.5 and produced revenue of $493,262. Personal Property last year was 1.63 and produced revenue of $73,703. This year’s compensating rates are Real Property, 1.486 and would produce $499,013 revenue. Per-sonal Property, 1.6236 and would produce $74,563 revenue. The County Extension District Board proposes tax rates of: Real Property, 1.5 and would produce revenue $503,714. Personal Property, 1.62 and would produce revenue $74,398. Additional revenue generated will be used for general expenditures of the Extension District.
