NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING A PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION PROJECT All interested persons are herby given notice that the KI BOIS Community Action Foundation, Inc. is seeking financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration under Section 5311 guidelines for the purpose of operation a rural public transportation project. Grant funds will be used to operate and maintain the KATS system serving Adair, Cherokee, Haskell, Hughes, Latimer, Leflore, McIntosh, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Sequoyah, Pittsburg,&Wagoner counties. If any person desires a public hearing to consider the social, economic and/or environmental effects of the proposed project, they may submit, in writing, to Mr. Carroll Huggins, Executive Director, KI BOIS Area Transit System, PO Box 727, Stigler, Oklahoma 74462-0727 by no later than December 06, 2017. A draft of the grant proposal is currently available for public inspection and copying at KI BOIS Area Transit System Facility, 1107 Industrial Rd., Stigler, Oklahoma, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
