SOLICITATION FOR BIDS

(BID NOTICE)

Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Education, Independent School District No. I-002, Moore, Cleveland County, Oklahoma, at the Moore Public Schools Administration Service Center, 1500 SE 4th Street, Moore, Oklahoma, until 2:00 P.M., Central Standard Time, on the 7th day of March, 2018, at which time said bids will be opened for furnishing all labor and materials for the construction of the Sooner Elementary School Media Center Addition including the following Bid Packages:

Bid Package 1 – Demo/Sitework

Bid Package 2 – Concrete

Bid Package 3 – Masonry

Bid Package 4 – Structural Steel

Bid Package 5 – Carpentry/Custom Case Work

Bid Package 6 – Waterproofing/Insulation/Firestopping

Bid Package 7 – Roofing

Bid Package 8 – Doors/Hardware

Bid Package 9 - Ceiling System/Finish Framing/Sheetrock

Bid Package 10 – Flooring

Bid Package 11 – Accessories

Bid Package 12 – Utilities

Bid Package 13 – Mechanical

Bid Package 14 – Plumbing

Bid Package 15 – Electrical/Cabling/IT

Bid Package 16 – Fire Suppression

Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, before the time set for opening bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened.

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above-mentioned office immediately following the closing time stated above.

Complete sets of General Conditions, Plans, and Specifications, and other bidding documents may be obtained through OMNI Construction, LLC and the RPG Plan Room.

A cashier’s check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder if the proposal is $100,000.00 or larger. Bid Guarantees will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders.

The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.

The time period within which a contract will be executed following award to the successful bidder will not exceed thirty (30) days.
